Water ResistanceThis watch is water resistant to 30 meters. Before using the watch in or near water, be sure that the crown is pushed in completely. You will need a watch screwdriver! The band is attached with screws...they work out with wear.
AVOID
As others have commented, this is a very nice looking, thin watch with a very broad leather band.
The face is readable only with considerable ambient light. It is difficult to read in night street lighting, for example.
The date button is recessed and very difficult to engage without pushing a finger nail into it.
Note that the information from Amazon is incorrect. This watch does not have a Japanese movement. The watch and band are from China.
Adequate...best to wear to make a fashion statement.
I purchased the watch on Amazon and was very pleased with the fast proccessing and great product. I was drawn to the watch because of it's sharp design and modern elegant look. I was conserned wearable comfortable and a fasionable style. For me, it met both of those requirments and I have received many compliments on the watch since aquiring it.
